Old radiator
It appeared the cooling system had been without antifreeze for some time and the cooling passages in the block were rusting. I flushed and filled with 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water and let it sit, rinse and repeat. After a second flush, I noticed a small leak from the radiator. Rockauto.com had a replacement shipped to me in short time.
While the radiator was out, I cleaned and painted the supporting frame.
Rust converter was sprayed first
New radiator, hoses and thermostat installed
